Twelve year old Jaileesa Johnson is not thrilled about having to share her room with her cousin, Lenore. She knows nothing about her cousin from Detroit and wants to keep it that way. However, Big Mama tells her she has to be nice to Lenore, so she’s trying her best to obey. Lenore doesn’t make it easy because she’s sullen, moody and withdrawn...and she keeps locking Jaileesa out of her own room.
Something happens to Jaileesa, making her feel she can’t tell anyone about it. Will her cousin, Lenore, be the only one who can get her to talk about the shameful secret?
